Now that we got the bullshit rappers out of the way, I thought it would be real fitting to have a REAL O.G. given the Hip Hop Gold treatment and with his directorial debut and new movie coming out soon, it had to be Ice-T. If there was ever a rapper that raised me with his music and teachings like a father, it would be the Iceberg but I’ll go in depth with that in its own post one day. For now, Ice is promoting the peace treaty between the Blood and Crip sets in L.A. Pay attention to the lyrics because you might learn something. By the way, Home Invasion is my favorite album by the Iceberg.
The late great 2Pac Shakur is seen here in the video giving us a tour in his neighborhood showing us where he went to school and where he kicked it when he skipped class. Sometimes I wish Pac was still alive because, if he was, I feel the rap game wouldn’t be so gimmicky like it is today but wishing is for suckas. By the way, the person that posted this up on YouTube titled it Bone Thugs diss and personally I don’t see this as a shot at Bone. My reason for saying no is because he collaborated with them on their Art of War album and artists don’t generally collaborate with other artists unless they like those artists themselves. Do you think it was a shot at Bone? Cast your votes at the bottom and if you vote yes please comment your reason why you feel it was. Enjoy!
A lot of people actually believe that the Bloods and Crips never will come together and stop the gang madness but what those people don’t know is that the Bloods and Crips actually signed a Peace Treaty and had peace between the sets from 1992 to 1997 I believe. Personally, I would like to remain optimistic cause if it happen before how come it can’t happen again and don’t categories myself with either the Bloods nor the Crips but I do got respect for both sides and I show it by dressing in both colors. I know who the real enemy is and its neither Blood nor Crip.
